If you've never seen Paintball with the Paintball status bar, you've really been missing out! This patch adds it so you can see the status bar when playing QuakeWorld paintball. You MUST have QI Pball 1.0 installed for it to work. It wasn't made by Digital Paint, but several people who worked on it are now working with Digital Paint. This is the "prequil" to Paintball 2: Quake Innovations Paintball, branched off of the QTeam mod which had the first implementation of CTF for Quake. Contains both 32bit Windows and Linux executables. Released as a special for the Quake2 25th anniversary! Simply extract this zip file into the directory you have Quake2 installed and run pb2q2. A lot of things have been stripped out/changed/broken because they aren't needed for Paintball 2, but this engine has a lot of nice features that improve both visuals as well as controls and movement, so you might want to play regular Quake 2 with it. This is a version of the Paintball 2 engine compiled with full Quake 2 support.
